Lucas Jackson is a classically trained actor from New York. Born in New Jersey and raised in upstate New York, the northeast was home for the majority of Lucas' childhood, and again in his college years where he studied acting at Rutgers University. He studied the practices of Meisner and Chekhov among fellow alumni Sebastian Stan and Tom Pelphrey. In 2007 Lucas worked first hand with the Masters of Shakespeare's Globe studying classical texts and performing on the legendary Globe stage. His studies abroad, which include living in five countries, are what he attributes to his ability to relate to texts and understand people. In Lucas' final year of college, he was presented with the Rutgers University Theater Appreciation Award for his role as Mercutio in the classic Romeo & Juliet. After college Lucas was cast in the lead role of the film Stay Single directed by Peter Macaluso. The director and actor have worked together several times since, and most recently in the Game of Thrones short spin off, Dunk N Egg. On the set of Vain Glory, Peter unwittingly played match maker when he cast Lucas opposite the beautiful and dynamic Grace DeSilva. The two hit it off from day one and married a few years later. In 2019, Lucas and Grace celebrated their first child and launched a podcast called Showtime Meets Business to bring life and finance advice to the creative community. In January of 2020, Lucas returned to the stage in the world premiere of Musket and the Rat by Sammy Horowitz. Since then he has wrapped a supporting role on the independent feature film titled 'Karma Bums', and guest starred on the Amazon series Hawaiian Sovereignty. Lucas also starred and produced a film titled El Servicio alongside his wife, Grace DeSilva. The short film was an early selection to headline at the Puerto Rican Film Festival in New York City. The two most recently celebrated the birth of their second child this past August.
