André Lourido is a Portuguese actor known for Último a Sair (2011), Depois do Adeus (2013), Laços de Sangue (2010), Rosa Fogo (2011) and Incómodo (2011). Having graduated in Languages, Literatures and Cultures from Évora University in 2010, he was also part of the University's Theatre Group (that he helped reinvigorate by co-creating the renewed group TEIA). He played the role of Peardrop, a breeder of polyhedra, in the inaugural play "Ubu Cuckolded", by Alfred Jarry. Studied Meisner Technique with actor, writer and director John Frey, in Lisbon, from 2010 to 2012, alongside other important names in Portuguese theatre and cinema, such as Sandra Celas, Tiago Fernandes and Francisco Côrte-Real. Also in 2010 he takes part in the acting course "Facing the Character", with Renato Borghi from "Embaixada do Teatro Brasileiro", alongside award winning actress Sandra Barata Belo and other actors. In 2011 he participates in Último a Sair (2011), acting alongside Miguel Damião and in 2013 he's in 2 episodes of Depois do Adeus (2013), a series that portrays Portugal in the aftermath of April 25th, with actors José Carlos Garcia, Joaquim Nicolau and Dinarte Branco . At the end of 2013 he moves to London, where he continues his artistic learning, having participated in academic short movies and acting workshops. Living in Portugal since 2023, he now resides in Lisbon, where he is motivated to embrace new projects and to learn and work enthusiastically, in the pursue of his passion and ambition: a career in the exciting world of Acting. André Lourido has dual citizenship with Portugal and the United Kingdom.
