Mel Waidmann

Mel Waidmann (aka Melvin Waidmann III) is the second of sons born to Melvin II & Rhonda Waidmann. He was born January 21, 2000 in Camarillo, California, USA. His two brothers, Brock & William are also actors. Mel was the last of the three Waidmann boys to take an interest in acting. After doing 2 years of musical theater with a local children's theater group, Cinemagic, and watching his brothers' starting their acting careers, Mel decided to give acting a try. He auditioned for a student film and was cast opposite his older brother, Brock. That was all it took for him to get bit by the acting bug. Mel and his brothers are the 2nd Great Grandsons' of silent film actor Stanton Heck. He began auditioning and booking parts for commercials, television, and films. He has appeared in various commercials and a television shows, and several films. In 2011 he had the privilege of working with both his brothers on a new television pilot that was in production. Mel and his brothers also co-founded the SoCal Sled Hockey Association of Ventura County. Together, they are working to bring more adaptable sports to kids with disabilities in Southern California. Mel's older brother, Brock has Spina Bifida. In 2011 he earned the honor of Pro Marksman in riffle shooting from the NRA. When he's not on set, Mel enjoys playing video games, swimming, and driving race cars. Mel has also competed for 2 years in the First Lego Robotics League where he competed as the Lead Programmer for his team. He continues to audition for various projects including TV, movies, theater, and voice over work.
