Iker Iturria was born in San Sebastián in northern Spain. Following his high school education Iker went to study product design at the Escola Massana in Barcelona, Spain. Subsequently he worked designing eyewear for Adolfo Dominguez, Armand Basi, Victorio & Lucchino, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada. Some years later he took further studies in cinematography at ESCIVI (Andoain, Spain), scenography techniques and documentary at EICTV (San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba) and soon started to expand his professional career working on photo shootings as a production manager and on commercials as first assistant director. Clients: Nike, Adidas, Mercedes, Mumm, BMW, Volvo, Versace, COS, Vodafone, British Airways an so on. Because of his prior work as product designer, production manager and assistant director and his studies Iker has a strong knowledge of filmmaking and good design applied to all areas of the film workflow and he decided to take the control of his own creativity to become a film director. In 2010, he co-founded, jointly with Manfre, the creative studio and production company Humanproduce, from where he produces, creates and directs musical, fiction, fashion and advertising films. Clients: Universal Spain, TVE1, El Terrat, Sony Music, Manuel Albarrán, OCB, Bridgestone. Among his most successful work highlights as a director include: Human Core (2011), a TV Series that was televised and a year later screened at Sitges Film Festival as a Feature Film, and attracted international attention, multi-awarded piece MYTH (2016), a genuine fashion film for the renowned designer Manuel Albarran (leather and accessories specialist on Maleficent (2014) for Angelina Jolie and he has designed for celebrities such as Madonna, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga...), and the musical cinematographic project Jericó (2018) for the artist Brisa Fenoy. Iker has been awarded in various international festivals (London, Berlin, Sitges, San Diego, New York, La Jolla, Los Angeles, Sarajevo...).
