Actor Ashley R. Woods was born in Redhill, Surrey in South London. He has three sisters Holly, Laura and Nadine. Ashley's acting career began it's journey very early on when he attended Ellesmere College, a private secondary school with a strong focus on the performing arts. There he was cast in a number of productions. This led to Ashley deciding to study Drama and Media at A-Level. During this period he starred in several productions at the local theatre including "Godspell" where he was cast as "Jeffrey". Soon after Ashley moved to Chester where his acting journey continued when he played "Judas" in the award winning and famous "Chester Mystery Plays". In the two years that followed he appeared in Alan Ayckbourne's "Relatively Speaking" as "Greg" and then in "Anything Goes" as "Billy Crocker" which played at Anthony Hopkins' prestigious "Theatre Clwyd", this production also went on to win many awards. In 2011 Ashley pursued his dream further when he moved back to London. As well as starring in various short films and TV commercials he was given a lead in his first feature film "The Antwerp Dolls" due for release in2016. Ashley moved back to Chester mid 2013 and continues to work on projects in Liverpool, Manchester and the surrounding areas. He trains weekly with the well established Act Up North team in Liverpool.
