Mykal Rodriguez

At the age of 17, Mykal was introduced to the film industry in 2010 while continuing his education at J. Sterling Morton West High School with a concentration in Theatre Performance. His high school work ranged from musicals, comedies, and tragedies both onstage and behind the scenes. His inspiration comes from his father Dennis Rodriguez who introduced to his first on set appearances. He was also inspired by legends such as Jose Ferrer and Daniel Day Lewis. He attends Northern Illinois University working towards his theatre studies degree, emphasis in acting.He focuses on primarily acting, stunts, and on the side will do makeup work once every so often. His first acting role debut on the big screen at Portage Theatre in Indept Pictures film, Planet Dead, which he also served as the head makeup artist of special effects. Since then he has played lead role in Lucky, and played characters in Spilt Blood, Guardian Ship, Laughisodes, and the list continues to grow. His off screen work includes Rocky Horror Picture Show Live, PoeFest at 16th Street Theatre in Berwyn and also four appearances at Northern Illinois University's Theactrical venue, including Hamlet Redux. His is a member of Thespians, the recipient of Breaking Fate Entertainment Lifetime Achievement Award (Youngest Member), and inductee of the Breaking Fate Entertainment Hall of Fame.
