Cathy Prince was born in Cleveland, Ohio. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Music Theater from Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music, a critically acclaimed program. After moving to New York City, she continued her education at the prestigious William Esper Studio, and the Scott Freeman Studio. She had the pleasure of working with Bob Krakower before relocating to Los Angeles where she now resides.
