Melody Cooper Jones began her acting adventure at the ripe old age of 13, when she went out for a feature film open call audition... on a dare! She walked in there with her little Polaroid and the best "country girl" outfit she could conjure up and met a world that she was not prepared for. Head shots, vocal warm ups and scary stage moms. Her mom dropped her off and went out for coffee! After 2 callbacks and a ton of fun, she was hooked! From the little sister in Christmas Carol to Masha in Three Sisters, to experimental Fringe Festival theater in New York, to indie film, music videos and commercial work, she has enjoyed a versatile career. You can find her acting in the Film and Television arena in LA, while still actively producing and directing theater and web projects for her company back in New York.
