Pedro Gonzalez Kuhn is an award-winning director and producer from Madrid based in Los Angeles. In 2014 he made his debut as a Director with the short film "The Grand Dis-Illusion". This project earned him a nomination for Best Documentary Short Film at the 2014 edition of the Goya Awards and has been screened in over 50 international festivals. In 2016 he produced the documentary film "Frágil Equilibrio - Delicate Balance". The film was internationally premiered at the Amsterdam IDFA International Film Festival and received the Goya Award for Best Documentary in 2017. The film won several major awards such as Best Documentary at Seminci Film Festival and Gijón Film Festival among others. It premiered in the USA at the Hollywood Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences under the New Filmmakers from LA Film Festival. After the international success of his award-winning documentary, Pedro decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue his career. In 2019 he co-directed along with Guillermo García López the three episodes series "Atlanticas", acquired by Orange TV and RTVE. The series features acclaimed Spanish actresses Leticia Dolera, Clara Lago and Irene Escolar. He also directs commercials and music videos while he develops his first narrative feature film as a director. This project won the IMCINE award for screenwriting and the SFFILM Development Grant. As a proof of concept, he directed the narrative short film "Customer Service" (2021) that will be released in 2022. He is currently directing two episodes for a new Disney + documentary TV series that will be released in 2023. Pedro received a Mass Media Bachelor Degree and a Master's Degree in film studies in Madrid (2010).
