Jamison Daniels is an an actor and writer born in San Bernardino, California, to public school teachers Jennifer Rogers-Daniels and David Daniels. He first took up acting at the age of five when he started training at a local studio for the performing arts. He would continue to perform in regional, community, and school productions throughout his youth. When he was sixteen, he was awarded a scholarship to train in musical theatre at Idyllwild Arts Academy, in Southern California. This led him to getting a scholarship to train in the BFA program for Musical Theatre at The Hartt School at The University of Hartford in West Hartford, Connecticut. In college he co-founded The Sandbox Theatre Company, a non-profit organization, where he held the position of artistic director. He produced three full scale productions and five smaller events across the country, gave ten young writers the opportunity to see their work onstage, and raised over $24,000. Most recently he created his own original web series, So Ya Wanna Be a Broadway Star (2015) a comedy following Micki Manuel Minnelli, a YouTube celebrity searching for Broadway stardom. Which will be premiering exclusively on BroadwayWorld.com in 2015.
