Marlo Lene' Zaber was born on January 27th, 1976, in Akron, and raised in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. The daughter of Aaron Zaber, a market analyst of German and French decent, and Crystal Weddle (formerly Zaber), a government worker of Sicilian and Greek heritage. Marlo's early ambitions leaned toward her love for art, music and acting. As a child, she took the lead in multiple theater productions and enjoyed entertaining others during piano recitals and art exhibits. Her twin sisters, Bailey & Taylor, with whom she is very close, are fifteen years younger and also graduates of Ohio University. After graduating from Ohio University with a half-hearted choice in Marketing, (because her Dad lovingly encouraged a more practical background), she worked in advertising while singing in blues bands on the weekends. She was taking private acting lessons when her coach, an esteemed instructor at the Second City Improvisational theater, encouraged her to audition for their comedy conservatory. Marlo wrote and performed sketch comedy with her Second City family for several years and began acting in independent films, commercials and webisodes. She later studied filmmaking at the Maine Media Workshops (2005) and began dabbling in directing, finding enjoyment behind the camera as well. She has created several short films and worked as the AD on the romantic comedy, Spellfound (2010). Marlo eventually moved to New York City where she went on to write, produce, and co-host the television pilot Six Degrees of my Producer' (2007) in collaboration with Sirk Productions. She also produced Dominican International Film Festival (2007) with close friend and fellow actress, Bridget Storm. However, day-to-day duties didn't allow for enough audition time and she began to miss performing. She re-committed herself to acting, and was soon cast as the lead in the independent feature film, Hall of Fame (2012).
