Daniel James

Daniel James (b. 05 June 1991) is a Australian Director, Writer and Producer. He began his film making during early high school. He followed his passion when he went on to study at Rosny College's highly acclaimed V.E.T Television Production course in Tasmania, Australia. In 2011 his short film 'The Silence of Whitewater' headlined the 2011 MyState Student Film Festival, winning four major awards, including Best Screenplay and Best Overall Film of 2011. The film has since gone on to win three awards including Best Director and Best Film in the Student Category of the 2012 Canberra Short Film Festival and nominated for Best Youth Short film at the 2012 St. Kilda Film Festival. In more recent times, Daniel's love for cinema has grown from passion to a mission and a life purpose. His goals are to develop and invent his own unique approach to storytelling that explores deep into the realm of human philosophy and spirituality. His ultimate goal is to eventually create several artistically bold Feature Films and T.V. Series' that captivate and challenge audiences throughout the modern World.
