Jacquie Schmidt

Jacquie is a stunt actress originally from Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati, Ohio. Growing up on a small horse farm in Independence, Kentucky; Jacquie was a competitive gymnast. Gymnastics instilled in her the love of performing, which transformed into ballet training at C.C.M. and the Otto M. Budig Academy of Cincinnati Ballet. Through the ballet she began training with the S.A.F.D. and eventually became certified in stage combat and sword work. All while training in the performing arts, Jacquie achieved her B.S. in Biology and M.A. in Secondary Education, becoming a science teacher and published biologist in evolutionary ecology. Following her love of telling stories through physical movement, Jacquie moved to Orlando, Florida to become a dancer and stunt actress at Walt Disney World and Universal Studios. Always wanting to expand her knowledge in her craft, Jacquie continues to train in multiple aspects of stunt work and acting for stage and screen. As a beloved hobby, Jacquie is a competitive equestrian in the sport of Eventing competing in USEA recognized events with her Swedish Warmblood mare April Z.
