Chris Reject

Born in Las Vegas, Chris Reject has always shown an interest in music. From an early age Chris started playing piano and joining choir in elementary school. In middle school, He started taking band learning saxophone. By 7th grade Chris had made it into Varsity band with only 12 other 7th graders. By 8th grade Chris started taking an interest in percussion and at age of 14 his parents bought him h is first drum set. In high school he joined marching band and became the only member in the percussion pit. By 11th grade Chris became the senior drum major and held that position for 2yrs. In his senior year he joined the local punk band Almost Heros as the percussionist. In 2002 Chris Reject along with high school friend Bob Reject, started the local punk band Grocery Strore Rejects. After years of line up changes and changing ideas, The Rejects found their official line up and became one of Las Vegas' most notable punk bands. In 2010 Chris Reject decided to help out a good friend by playing bass. An instrument he was unfamiliar with, but decided that he cared enough to help out his friend that he would put his all into learning bass. That friend was none other than Roxy Gunn. Chris joined the Project and brings fresh grooves with a punk rock edge and a stage presence that cannot be touched. Currently both bands are going strong and he will continue to dominate the music. In 2011 Chris along with RGP were casted in the movie "Road to Hell" as both a musician in the movie but also as DJ Dante, the radio DJ heard through out the movie.
