Fredrika Dukes

Mini Biography Fredrika Kaye Dukes was born on July 5, 1975 in Atlanta, Georgia. Her interests were varied growing up. While attending Westlake High, she spent her time reading, playing violin, modeling, competing in track & field and cross-country events and as a Manager for her High School Marching Band and Wrestling Team. She also worked part-time in a grocery store. Following High School, Fredrika earned her Bachelor's degree from Iowa State University's College of Business, majoring in Transportation and Logistics with a minor in Accounting. She went on to work in corporate roles in Logistics and Project Management until the birth of her first child in 2005. In 2007, Fredrika returned to a childhood interest - Modeling. Now in the Minneapolis market, she worked as a print and runway model for various groups including FGI Mpls/St Paul, Mall of America Fashion Consultant Sara Rogers and as a Hair Model for the Tippi Shorter Team during Aveda Congress 2011 and Toni Brattin with ShopNBC 2012. Simultaneously she transitioned into Commerical Acting for many of the major corporations in town like Target, Medtronic , Best Buy, Ecolab, 3M and others. These roles opened the door to a variety of Short and Feature Film opportunities, most notably as Nurse Mary in Golden Hour (2011) and Private Tyson in Memorial Day (2011). When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, volunteering in her church nursery and traveling.
