Born and raised in Topeka, Kansas, Jackie has always had a passion for acting and the arts. She attended Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, Richard Daley Junior College and Columbia College in Chicago. She studied fashion design and fashion show production. In 2003, Jackie started her own label under the name Jackie Oooo. Her designs were shown in numerous fashion shows and expos. Still yearning to act, she sent head shots to several casting companies. In 2008, she found success when she landed a featured extra role as a waitress in the TV series, "The Beast". After that, she appeared as an Extra in the 24th Season opener episode of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" and the series finale of "ER". The year 2009 became a busy year for her as she appeared in five short films as an actress. Modeling was also added to her resume as she walked the runway for the infamous Bridal Expo and The Dress Barn. Starting in 2010, ambitious Jackie became a Costume Designer and actress for Elgin Theater Company & Tesseract's theatre productions. Her costume designs were featured in: "M*A*S*H", "Music Man", "The Producers", "Noises Off", "The Woman In Black" , "Bye, Bye Birdie" and "Leaving Iowa". In 2011, Jackie launched her career in the film industry as a Costume Designer by working on two short films, "Family" and "Only Thunder". In addition to her film & theatre industry credits, Jackie has her own weekly Internet TV show which was founded in 2011. As of March 2013, she was hired to be the Producer and Host of The Civil Rights Agenda "CAN" TV show, which airs once a month on the the third Friday on channel 21 in Chicago, Illinois.
