Brooklyn Native and talent manager Jonnelle Fletcher lives and breathes meaningful connections. Like a divinely updated version of Glinda the Good Witch, wherein Glinda is re-cast as a globetrotting, pants-wearing boss, she uses her powers for good: to connect emerging talent with powerfully aligned opportunities that take their careers, and vision, to the next level. Jonnelle's talent management career started out as traditionally as any career counselor could predict. After earning her degree in Entertainment & Arts Management from Drexel University, Jonnelle went to work for celebrated networks and agencies like MTV, Def Jam, Endeavor, Special Brand ( Anthony Hamilton/9th Wonder ) and Steel Wool Entertainment ( Anderson .Paak/Kirk Franklin/Omarion ). In each role, she quickly absorbed the ins and outs of how to transform rising stars into today's most revered cultural icons. Hip Hop Royalty Company In 2016, Jonnelle formed Hip Hop Royalty, Co., a heart-centered firm dedicated to representing diverse, multicultural talent who share a humanitarian drive behind all they do and dream. She is proud to represent clients including Ecstacy, a member of legendary Hip Hop group Whodini and Grammy Winning Hip Hop artist Swoope. Hip Hop Roots Jonnelle's love of hip hop and culture started early. From birth, actually. Her father, John Fletcher, is a member of the trailblazing platinum selling 80's hip hop group, Whodini. Growing up, both Jonnelle's mother and father encouraged her to embrace different cultures, which spawned a deep passion for travel. She has visited over 17 countries, and in the process has established a strong, versatile international network and resources that she utilizes to expand her clients' social reach. Sharing the Wealth Through Education In addition to managing talent, Jonnelle is committed to spreading her knowledge to entertainment rookies. She designs and teaches online courses at Mixtape University aimed at demystifying the entertainment industry, introducing students to industry insiders, and instilling the soft skills and mindset to push aspiring moguls to the next level.
