Gibran Bazan, born in the city of Mexico, is the only pupil of Juan Lopez Moctezuma, cult filmmaker with whom he made several projects including the series of medium-length "I vampire" and is co-author with Moctezuma of the screenplay for the feature film 'Black Pinocchio', which the director was unable to perform because of his death in the 1990s. As a director, he made the short films "Retroscape in off", "Canok, the lost man" and "Route Camus". In 2009 he undertakes the project of his first feature film "Generation Spielberg" with a script of his own, released on 2012. In 2012 he produced and directed the documentary "The Lost Files". In 2014 he shot the feature film "Le Bouquiniste", a Mexico-France coproduction, also with a script of his own. He is also author of the screenplays for feature film "Eternity reflections", "Serapis Radax", "The woman in the moon", "Mrs. Luz, serial killer" and "Love Haiku".
