Tess Meyer

Tess Meyer is an Australian screenwriter and creative development executive living in California. She deals in big dreams and scary nightmares, with a duel specialty in animated family films and TV series as well as live action elevated genre and sci-fi thrillers. Her first CGI feature film as a screenwriter for international IP, Mia and Me, hit production in 2020. In 2019 Tess relocated to the USA and concluded six years at Australian animation power house, Flying Bark Productions. Her latest CGI animated feature film (Maya the Bee: The Golden Orb) and TV series (100% Wolf TV) as development producer working across story and creative from concept generation through to scripting were greenlit and went into production in 2018. Independently, she creates, writes, and develops with talented filmmakers across platform and genre. Her multi award-winning feature-length project, Skinford, was released in 2017 on Blackpills in Europe, VICE in the US and SBS Viceland in Australia. Skinford: Chapter 2 enjoyed a limited 2018 released in Australian cinemas and is scheduled for online release in 2019.
