Matt Gaetano Levin is an American actor and writer born and raised in New York City's West Village. He is a graduate of Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. While at Brandeis, Levin became interested in the craft of acting after appearing in the play "Three Sisters Who Are Not Sisters" by Gertrude Stein which was directed by Dmitry Troyanovsky. The following year he appeared on stage in "Medeamaterial" also directed by Troyanovsky. His father is writer and legendary jazz critic Robert Levin.
