Emre Oskay

Emre Oskay was born in 1985 in Istanbul. He was graduated from Eastern Mediterranean University, Faculty of Communication department between 2005-2010 which he did bachelor degree of Radio Television and Cinema. Oskay has undertaken many short film productions during his studentship years and has been involved in the management of cinema clubs and has been involved in many organizations. He has been a co-founder member of the ''Cyprus International Short Film Festival'', the first international festival of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in 2007-2009. After his graduation, he worked as production manager in the movie ''The Hair'' with the independent movie director Tayfun Pirselimoglu who's movie was a candidate for Golden Leopard in Swiss Locarno International Fim Festival in 2010. After that project, In 2010, he assumed the responsibility of producing the documentary "The Dream of Mustafa", which was awarded the SXSW Film Festival Audience Award in the United States, which was directed by Angelous Abazoglou World Premier 2012 Berlinale. Oskay, who started to executive produce with Dervis Zaim's film "Shadows and Faces", which received the Best Director and Best Fiction Award at the Antalya Film Festival, continued to work as a production manager and producer in Ptot Film's commercial films productions. As a producer, co-producer and executive producer of feature films in the international film festivals in a short time with the IFP Istanbul Film Productions Company established in partnership with the company in 2013, Oskay is a leading producer and producer of films in USA, UK, Greece, France, Germany, Azerbaijan, Iran, Jordan, Dubai, Finland, Belgium, Switzerland, TRNC, Italy, and Japan served international productions in our country. In January 2018, after 5 years of work with IFP, he left the company. And Emre Oskay worked as co-partner and vice chairman of HANN Films which he produced 9 feature films and 3 documentaries during 2 and half years. Now He opened his own production company called "Sky Films" located in istanbul.Sky is a production service company which produce contents such as feature films, series, documentaries, Tvcs, short films and films videos.
