Regina Bellows was born in Phoenix, Arizona, to Wendy Bellows, a technical writer, and Fred Bellows, the owner of a car audio business. She has a younger brother, Ethan Bellows, who is an editor at Entertainment Weekly. She is of European Jewish and Scottish descent. She acted in musicals and plays nonstop from age 8 to 18. Her favorite roles during this time period were Ms. Hannigan in "The Little Princess" and Asaka in "One On This Island." At 33 she took an interest in film acting when the film "Good Morning Vietnam" convinced her that performing was a worthy endeavor because it makes people happy. She is known for Hangin' with Fidel (2012), A Dead Man's Money (2012) and Pure Bliss (2012).
