Leslie Dutton

Leslie Dutton is a long time civic and civil rights advocate, activist involved in community, state and national issues. Dutton has extensive experience as an executive for a number of issue-oriented and educational organizations. As a public affairs account executive Leslie represented major clients on issues dealing with the media, government agencies, state legislature and Congress. In 1992, Leslie Dutton created the public affairs cable TV program "Full Disclosure"(R) that was billed as "the news behind the news". Starting on one cable channel in Santa Monica, CA and then expanding distribution to 45 municipal and public cable channels throughout California. The FDN archive contains more 900 full length and short programs. The Previews and full segments of many Full Disclosure(R) programs are featured on FDN and set for domestic and international distribution to viewers. They have also been featured on many public cable channels and media broadcast. As Producer and Host of the Full Disclosure program Leslie was honored by the prestigious Academy of Televisions Arts & Sciences with an 2001 Emmy Award for "Public Affairs and Informational Series" entitled "L.A.'s War Against Terrorism" featuring LAPD Chief Bernard Parks, LA County Sheriff Leroy Baca and other L A public safety officials. In 2008 Dutton, along with Co-Producer T. J. Johnston, received a second Emmy nomination in the same category for a series covering the Federal Prosecution of Orange County Sheriff Michael Carona featuring Carona, Prosecutors and Criminal Defense experts in the field of Federal Sentencing Guidelines. Dutton and FDN are in development with emerging new media venues globally.
