Shaun is an award-winning producer, director, screenwriter, editor and actor. In January 2012, he founded the production company, Picto Films. Ten months later, Picto's debut, The Note (2012), earned him an Official Selection at the 2012 American Independent Film Festival as well as a Hollywood screening. Since then, Shaun has been involved with many film and TV projects including Amazon's original series, Hand of God (2014) working for series creator, Ben Watkins. Shaun also wrote and produced, Nine Seconds (2017), starring The Vampire Diaries (2009) Gavin Casalegno and the TV documentary, Dream Chasers (2017) with Netflix's, 13 Reasons Why (2017) star, Bryce Cass and A Dog's Purpose (2017), Bryce Gheisar. Shaun's first foray into writing for television, Quest, won a 2013 Hollywood Screenplay Award in the category of Best Television Drama. Executive Director, John Vincent, stated, "Quest has earned special distinction as among the very best of the best." Shaun also picked up two awards, Best Trailer and Best Ensemble Cast, for the promotional trailer he directed and edited for Sage Alexander at the 2017 Los Angeles Independent Film Festival, as well as three further nominations, including Best Director and Best Editing. Shaun released a teaser bringing to life the first two pages of his first feature length screenplay, Stranger in which a harrowing 911 call is in progress with a desperately traumatized seven-year old boy. It immediately attracted the attention of John B. Crye, an executive on Christopher Nolan's, Memento (2000), and was subsequently picked up by L.A. production company, Voyage Media.
