Rippin Sindher

A self-taught South Asian filmmaker, Rippin worked for the Directors Guild of America for ten years before being selected for the Ryan Murphy Half Initiative Directing Program and shadowing on the Netflix series, "Ratched." Her past projects include "The Hideout" (showcased at festivals nationwide and the American Cinematheque's Focus on Female event), the anti-hate documentary "SEVA" and The Man of Mystery which she created. She was hired to pen a feature film adaptation of "Village Bride of Beverly Hills." Her digital pilot was a finalist for the Sundance New Voices Lab and the AFI Directing Workshop for Women. She is part of Women In Film's INSIGHT community and founder of KAUR Creative, a creative initiative for South Asian women and girls.
