Vivianne Ligarde is a Mexican actress and television host. She is a co-host of The Zoo on LATV. Proving to be a versatile multilingual talent, Vivianne is bringing her skills to both television and stage having played roles from Loudres on the Colombian-Mexican series, La Ruta Blanca to a recurring role as Susana on Marido en Alquiler on Telemundo and her latest lead role as Eliana on the NBC-Universal mini series Milagros de Navidad by Telemundo Internacional. Vivianne's theatre experiences include the role of the feisty Edna, in Waiting for Lefty and proudly portrayed the self-reliant Susan in Michael Weller's classic, Loose Ends. On screen, she has starred in the short film, Unbroken and appeared in the crime-thriller Valentina. She has hosted a variety of Spanish-language shows on TV Azteca including Entre Pingos and Disney Channel Latinoamerica; as well as Kuhomo TV in Puebla, Mexico and Vida Miami TV on cable television station, Telemiami. Vivianne has done a lot of commercial work and appeared in numerous national television commercials for Wal-Mart, Crest, KIA, Dannon, Aeromexico and many more. You can also find her voice in several National Voice Over commercials for TV and Radio representing brands such as McDonald's, Taco Bell, AT&T and Honda among others. In 2011, Vivianne studied acting, specializing in the Meisner Technique at the William Esper Studio in New York City lead by Bill and Suzanne Esper and Acting for Film and TV with David and Linda Laundra. In 2012, she attended Taller de Actuacion Sebastian Ligarde (TASL) in Miami, FL, the only recognized Spanish-language training of the Meisner Technique for Film and TV, lead by her uncle and widely recognized telenovela actor, Sebastian Ligarde. She would later return to teach acting at TASL alongside her uncle before moving to Los Angeles in 2015. Born and raised in Puebla, Mexico, where at only 13 Vivianne launched her television hosting career with a gig on TV Azteca, the second largest broadcast company in Mexico. Though she was bit by the acting and hosting bug at a young age, Vivianne's parents encouraged her to finish school before pursuing her acting dreams. In between hosting duties and television roles, Vivianne made time to earn her undergraduate degree in International Business at the Universidad Anáhuac in Mexico City and a Master's in Business Strategy from the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria in Madrid, Spain. Vivianne speaks three languages fluently: English, Spanish and German. When she's not acting or dishing the latest in pop-culture gossip on The Zoo, Vivianne enjoys planning and going to her next traveling adventure, swimming, hiking, writing her own book and rock-climbing. Since moving to L.A., Vivianne has become an active presence in the entertainment circuit, and maintains a strong connection to the Latino community. May, 2018
