Yassine Sekkal

Born on May 9th 1983 in Casablanca Morocco, Yassine began his career in an amateur group in high school. In 2004, he attended ISADAC (l'institut supérieur d'art dramatique et d'action culturelle) to pursue a degree in Theater. Since 2007, he played in numerous theater pieces: Ahmed Haammoud's 'Trois nuits Avec Madox' and 'Le Spectateur condamné a Mort', jean Michel Van Den Eeydenn's 'Garuma' and Abdelmjid Haouass' 'schizophrenia'. After receiving his BS degree in 2008, he started his career in Moroccan TV in Hakim Nouri's movie 'victimes'. In the same year he was awarded a starring role in the series 'Une Heurs En Enfer' (directed by Yassine Fennane). In 2009, he began his career in cinema starring in Nassim Abassi's film 'Majid'. And later in 2010, he starred in 'La famille marche à l'ombre' (directed by Hicham Lasri). In 2014, Yassine starred in 'The Sea is Behind' (also directed by Hicham Lasri). He played the role of 'Mikhi'.
