Summer Bodhi Nicks, also know just as 'Summer Nicks' is an Australian film director, writer and actor. He is the Creative Director and partner in Xeitgeist Entertainment Group, which has recently produced the critically acclaimed biopic film, starring Jeremy Irons, Dev Patel, Stephen Fry and Devika Bhise, 'The Man Who Knew Infinity' as well as the spy thriller, 'Damascus Cover', starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers and John Hurt and 'Hotel Mumbai' starring Armie Hammer and Derv Patel. In 2012-13 his film 'Seedlings' won a string of prestigious accolades including 'Best Film', 'People's Choice Award' at the New York City Film Festival and the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation Film Festival with his leading lady, Aamina Sheikh picking up the 'Best Actress Award' twice. The film also won 'Best Film' at the DC South Asian Film Festival. Summer was also nominated several times in the 'Best Original Screenplay' category. In 2014 his directorial debut, a high octane, action spy thriller 'Operation 021', was ranked No.1 at the Box Office in over ten territories and garnered an 8.5 rating. In 2015/16 Summer went on to write and direct, 'Shambhala', a mystical action adventure and 'Sedition', a survivalist drama set in the HImalaya Mountains. Summer has also appeared in several feature films and TV Series though he prefers to remain uncredited for his acting word.
