Jennifer Rebecka Holman was born in Springfield, Ohio, to Rebecka (Looney) Holman, an echo-cardiogram technician and paramedic and Timothy Holman, a fire chief. She was raised with her two sisters, Nikki, a USAF Master Sergeant and Michelle, a police officer. In 2012, her mother, Becky, passed away from cervical cancer. Holman uses her middle name professionally in her mother's memory. In 2014, Her father married Terri (Snide). Holman has become very close to her stepmother. She was blessed to be adopted as a granddaughter by Terri's parents, Jim and Fran. Her family's continued love and support is irreplaceable. Holman attended high school at Emmanuel Christian Academy, where she played basketball, volleyball and led the drama team. It was in high school that she came to love the performing arts. She was accepted into the Post-Secondary Option program at Clark State Community College during her junior year of high school and began performing in their theatre department. She went on to complete her Bachelors Degree in Acting and Directing at Bowling Green State University. Holman continued her education by participating in intensive studies at Jeff Daniels' Purple Rose Theatre in Chelsea, Michigan, and Second City Chicago. Holman has performed on stage in many shows including the title role from Beauty and the Beast, Sister James from Doubt, Alice from You Can't Take it With You and Lavinia from Titus Andronicus just to name a few. She was a member of the Around the Bend Players, a professional improv comedy troupe. She has modeled for Scott's Miracle Gro, Ford Motors and Harley Davidson. Some of the commercials she has been featured in are dotTV (which she also co-wrote and co-produced), SafeAuto, Penn National Gaming, Speedway, LenCrafters and Ro-tel. In addition to being an actor, Holman is also a stand-up comedian and writer. Her hobbies include history, art, museums of any kind and traveling when possible. Holman lives with her dog, Shakespeare, in Burbank, CA. Holman has a speaking role in the highly anticipated and acclaimed feature film, The End of the Tour, starring Jason Segel and Jesse Eisenberg.
