Marco Tomaselli

Best known as "Toma" with Sicilian blood, I was born in Firenze in 1989 and begun studying photography in Tuscany at a very early age. Coming from an anthropologists family, the desire to explore all the beautiful different cultures the world has to offer brought me to work and travel all around the globe: from Japan to Guatemala, USA, and Europe, Mexico, Taiwan, Jamaica, Bahamas, South Korea. In 2010, I moved to London where I continued my work as photographer and independent filmmaker. After getting bored of the moody UK weather, in 2013, I decided to move in the sunny Los Angeles to master my expertise on cinematography and perfecting both eye and technique. Since then I had the chance to learn and work with some of the best creative minds in the world like Hoyte Van Hoytema, Van Gus Sant, Quentin Tarantino, Sasha Baron Cohen, Snoop Dogg, T-Pain... His narrative work in feature and short films has circulated over 20+ festivals. In 2017 he's finally part of the prestigious International Cinematographers Guild Local 600. Beside cinematography, I cultivate a deep love for arts in any of its form: from paintings, architecture, food, music till the elegant design of beautiful vintage Vespas. Now, as always, I'm searching for my next adventure...
