Gloria Altonnia is a multi-faceted actress, dancer, and model who has been acting since her days in primary school. Born Gloria Altonnia Simpson, she was raised in San Diego, CA by her mother Edwinna, an aspiring powerhouse singer. As a child, her family traveled frequently giving her the opportunity to experience different cultures, lifestyles, and dialects in places such as, Houston, TX, Piscataway, NJ, and Bronx, NY. Even at a young age, she would study the people in these different places and use their behavior to inspire her acting. Soon, Gloria Altonnia would showcase her talent in middle and high school stage plays. She has played several roles in theatrical productions, such as "Midnight Summer's Dream", "Snow White", and "Alice in Wonderland", to name a few. In high school, she was very active in the drama club and wore several hats as an actress, a member of the production crew, and within the executive team. Gloria Altonnia has always utilized her acting skills to get her through everyday life. She campaigned to be voted on to her high school cheerleading team. Gloria Altonnia would later be selected to represent her school in the state-wide U.I.L. competition in which she demonstrated her acting abilities in front of a panel of judges. In addition, while in high school, she was a super star track athlete, pursued modeling, and often participated in talent shows as a dancer. These experiences would lay a wholesome foundation for her acting versatility. In 2004, Gloria Altonnia graduated from high school and was accepted into Stephen F. Austin State University (SFASU) where she would assist in the production of several short, student films in the College of Fine Arts at SFASU. It wasn't until 2009 that she earned the opportunity to play the lead role in her first feature film "Sara's Book", a story about a 16-year old girl whose life changes when she loses her parents in a car accident and is forced to live in an orphanage. The experience inspired Gloria Altonnia to move full force toward making her dream of being a professional actor a reality. In 2009, Gloria Altonnia graduated from SFASU with a Bachelor of Science degree and, after one year of working and saving money, she moved to Los Angeles, CA to pursue her acting career. Gloria Altonnia is taking a variety of acting classes, including The Groundlings School of Improve and The International Academy of Film and Television, refining her acting skills. She continues to work as an actress, background actor, and dancer in several feature films, commercials, and music videos. Gloria Altonnia also acts in theatrical productions produced by the Dream Center. She has hosted several interviews and was a contestant in the Miss Orange County Regional Pageant 2011. Always an advocate for philanthropy, Gloria Altonnia is an active member of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles.
