Rupsha Guha

Rupsha Guha is an Indian Film Actor. She has completed her Masters in English from Kolkata. She has featured in a couple of commercials, a Canadian commercial Ora X Google headphones and Parley Marie directed by Imtiaz Ali. She has been a part of several television shows, some of the popular ones are Mohona, Agniparikha, Ogo Bodhu Shundori and Ekhanae Ahash Neel for Star Jalsha. She has been a part of several feature films.She has done two National Films called Chaalis Chowrasi by Hriday Shetty featuring Naseeruddin Shah, KK Menon, Ravi Kisen and Atual Kulkarni, EK Adbhut Dakshina Gurudakshina directed by Kiran Phadnisn featuring Girish Kannad, one bilingual film by a French director Tim Alarazeki. She has acted in several Regional Films, her first Kantatar by Bappadityo Bandopadhaay, Kaal by the same, Hingtingchot by Anasua Roychoudhury, Mrs Sen by Agnidev Chatterjee, Ramdhonu by Shiboprasad and Nandita Roy, EK Je Achey Shohor,Senapati by Arnab Riingo Banerjee and Bibaho Obhijan by Birsa Dasgupta. She has featured in gigs for a band called 'Super Junkies' and has also collaborated with an IDM musician ,Dark Arp. Sung in films such as Messy and Cactus, including her original and cover songs on Sound Cloud. She has also written and directed a short film called Locked In, on a National portal called Pocket Films. She believes art cannot be constricted to one medium and if it is the voice of an artist ,it must be heard.
