Graduating from the prestigious Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University in 2012 was a milestone in the career of Craig MacArthur. Since leaving the MFA Acting program at Rutgers, he has garnered wonderful reviews and industry attention for his work in both film and theatre. He is known for his "soulful intensity," as recently praised by Margaret Hedderman, of the Durango Harold. He is also known for the organic feel to his characters, along with a broad and memorable smile. In 2013, MacArthur was cast in the film COWBOYS & INDIANS, his feature film debut, directed by award winning director, Ian McCrudden, and starring Catherine Hicks, Lisa D'amato, Kyle Agnew and Maria Johnson. His performance as Wayne, a troubled, alcoholic rodeo cowboy, continues to garner him positive attention. On stage, MacArthur has received glowing reviews for his portrayal of Judas in THE LAST DAYS OF JUDAS ISCARIOT, Joey in A STEADY RAIN, and Trevor in THE SUBMISSION at The Olney Theatre Center. He made his NYC stage debut in a production of THE NORTHERN KINGDOM, which was directed by and starred famed TV director/actress, Dorothy Lyman. He can be seen next onstage in Colorado in a regional production of RED, in the role of Ken, originally portrayed by Eddie Redmayne. The production will be directed by Melissa Firlit.
