Lisa Ojeda Mattheis was born in Pasadena, Texas to Mexican American parents Jesusa and Gonzalo Ojeda. She had always dreamed of being an actress, but somehow something else always took up her time. When in High School she was very much into sports, running track and cross country, which didn't leave her any time for drama. After high school she briefly attended college, however, it just wasn't for her, and she began working in various administrative positions in several oil companies in Houston, TX. She married in 1991 and has a son and daughter. As her daughter grew up, she showed an interest in acting and took part in a number of children's theater plays. Lisa's dream of becoming an actress was once again rekindle, however, it still wasn't the right time. She supported her daughters interests in acting by helping out with the children's theater in any way she could, often times doing the concessions, or working behind stage. Once her children grew older and her time freed up, she started thinking about pursuing her acting career. Then one day at her friends hair salon she met Johnny Ray Gibbs, who was already an aspiring actor in his own right. He recommended she attend the Film Acting Academy, which was run by Lee Stringer. After a couple of months thinking about it, she finally reached out and signed up for classes. Since starting her formal training, Lisa has already acted in several films in a number of different roles. She continues to hone her skills thru training and pursuing both film and commercial work.
