David J Smith

David Smith was born in Yeovil, Somerset 17th April 1990. He grew up in Somerset until he was 7 years old and moved to Scotland for one year before returning to Somerset. He has remained in somerset trying put the South West back on the map for its film making talents. David had fallen in love with films and film making at a very early age and was making films when he was 7-8 years old, he continued his passion for film making through his school years and then went on to study Media (Moving Image) at college. After a brief spell at university David decided that university was not giving him what he needed and decided to try and break into the film industry the good old fashioned way. Whilst continuing to make his own films David has worked on various TV and Film productions as a Floor Runner (AD) which has helped him grow as a person and as a film maker.
