Kate Moran is a Korean American producer, writer, director, actor, and comedian based in New York City. Over the last decade, Moran has worked on over 40 independent productions for stage and screen, including her short film, "Are You Afraid of the '90s?," starring Heather Matarazzo. She is the Vice President of the annual Nasty Women Unite Fest, celebrating feminist live performance, film, and visual art; and the creator and producer of The Revolution, a monthly comedy show showcasing female and trans comedians. After receiving her BFA in Drama from New York University Tisch School of the Arts, Moran has worked in casting, talent representation, acting training, and theatrical and video production. She has studied at Stella Adler Studio, Stonestreet Studios, the Peoples' Improv Theater (The PIT), and under Tribeca and Sundance film director Matthew Bonifacio. She is the former artistic director and founder of the Broken Glass theater company, and is the founder and executive producer of her own production company, k.mo. productions.
