Sean A. Addo is a Ghanaian-American filmmaker, born to two African immigrant parents. He grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, where his love for animation and storytelling lead him to the University of Cincinnati. During his time at UC, Sean designed motion graphics for prime-time networks such as Fox, ABC, and NBC. He worked for The Procter & Gamble Company before leaving to study film at the University of Southern California. His MFA thesis entitled, Deeper Than Black, has been honored globally for its honest exploration of the "Third Culture Kid" syndrome. After completing his MFA, Sean went on to work in post-production on several commercials at World War Seven Production Company. Later he would transition into film as a Cinematographer on the feature film, Inquisitor. Under the guidance of John Singleton and Clark Johnson, Sean would sharpen his knowledge of directing while on the set of Fox's Snowfall. Shortly after Sean co-founded his own company, IV Sight Pictures where he would write and direct several other short-form projects. Sean's attention to both international and domestic audiences promises far-reaching content. With original works such as Kings, Rockabye, Amerikafo, and The Homesick, Sean hopes to use identity, diversity, and socially aware content to help bridge cultural gaps through original supernatural genre films.
