Amy has been writing professionally for over 20 years. As a journalist and managing editor of HOLA AUGUSTA NEWSPAPER, she was a member of the ASSOCIATED PRESS as well as a frequent contributor to RESTAURANT USA and other national publications. For many years she wrote the BUFORD PICKENS humor column for the AUGUSTA CHRONICLE which evolved into novel FISH GUTTING FOR NEWLYWEDS, which she turned into an award winning screenplay by the same name. she wrote the well-received thriller novel THE ARTISAN under the pen name of Dyal Bailey. Amy is also the owner the Rhinehart's Oyster Bar restaurant Chain in the Augusta (beyondcasual). For several years, she was the host of THE AMY BAILEY radio show on WGAC in Augusta and is a much sought after guest at large business and educational functions for her business acumen. Amy is very active in the Georgia film community and is the hospitality liaison for the Augusta Film Office. As lead producer on the feature Sci-Fi Thriller ENCOUNTER, she showed her business skills transferred beautifully into the movie business as the production came in on time and under budget.
