Paul Dewdney is an English actor, born and based in London. The heritage of his parents is Killybegs, Co. Donegal, Ireland, and Sixpenny Handley, Dorset. A multiple film festival award winner in consecutive years the first being 2015 when he won the 'Best Supporting Actor' at the 'Long Island Film Forum' in New York for his role as Adrian in Crossroads (2015) In 2016 he won the 'Best Actor' in a leading role award at the 'Feel The Reel Film Festival' and the same year 'Chandler Film Festival' in Arizona for his role in The Inquiry (2016) In 2017 Paul was nominated for 'Best Actor' at the 'International Filmmaker Festival of World Cinema, Nice' in The Inquiry (2016) In 2018 Paul won a 'Best Actor' award for his role as Castlin in Mea Culpa (2018) at the 'Monaco International Film Festival in Monte Carlo which was the World Premiere of the film. At the 'Long Island International Film Expo, Long Island, New York' and following the award in 2015 for Crossroads (2015) he followed up that success in 2019 with another 'Best Actor' win becoming the first actor in the history of the festival to win a Best Actor category award twice for his role in Mea Culpa (2018) in which he was cast directly opposite Sean Young who played the female lead in the iconic Blade Runner (1982) In 2019 Paul won 'Best Actor' awards, first at the 'Feel The Reel International Film Festival' for his role in Dovetail (2019) and also won 'Best Actor' at the 'TMFF Film Festival' for Dovetail (2019) At the 'Southampton International Film Festival' in 2019, he received a nomination for his role as Jack in Dovetail (2019) Paul played the lead role in 'No One Likes Us' a 2-hander stage production at the Camden Fringe Theatre Festival in 2019 which was sold out for six consecutive performances and received excellent reviews.
