Samantha Jaikaran

Sam was born on the small island of Trinidad & Tobago and migrated to the United States with her family in 1997 in search of a better life, education, and the opportunity to chase big dreams. During her four years of college, the acting bug took a particular liking to Sam. A novice, Sam tackled lead roles in plays, bringing the works of world renowned playwrights such as Anton Chekhov, Shakespeare, and Thorton Wilder to life. Sam has appeared in an episode of "Shades of Blue" alongside Jennifer Lopez and Ray Liotta, an episode of "Gotham" alongside Cameron Monaghan and Robin Taylor, and recently wrapped a feature length film that will soon appear in film festivals as well as her first lead in a comedy series called "Critical Path". When not on set, she takes acting classes, works out, watches television shows and movies, and trains with top martial artists, stuntmen and stunt-women in New York City. Sam is currently writing her own feature length film based on her mom's life.
