Luciana Baseggio

Luciana is a cinematographer from Brazil, who shot over 18 projects, including the features "Fogaréu", which premiered at Berlinale in 2022 and "Pasajeras", which premiered also in 2022 at the Curitiba International Film Festival. "A House in the Country", from director Davi Pretto is in post-production but have already won prizes such as the World Cinema Fund (audience design) during pre-production. Besides her work on features, she has shot several short films and commercials for which she has received awards and participated on Film Festivals with. She was also one of the 16 cinematographers in the world chosen to be a part of the Camera Studio at the Berlinale Talents Program in 2020. Luciana holds a master degree from the European Master Viewfinder MA and an undergraduate degree in Cinema, and is one of the founders of the Brazilian collective of women, trans and non-binary people working in cinematography, founded in 2016 to further discuss gender equality in the field.
