From the suburbian town of in Mechancisburg, Pennsylvania, at an early age, Carli Rapsey gravitated toward the stage. Her journey started in 1995 when she sang in the chorus with her preschool class and enrolled with a local dance company. After performing at her 4th grade talent show, Carli began studing privately to further her vocal ability at the age of 10. In middle scho ol, Carli branched out to the world of musical theatre and landed the leading roles of "Kim" in "Bye, Bye Birdie" and "Cinderella" in "Cinderella". She continued to hone her craft through involvement in musical theater workshops; which lead to her being selected to perform in New York City for several Broadway music and theater professionals. Enrolling in competitions, Carli held the title of 2006 Winner of the "Harrisburg Superstar" competition. She was honored to be selected in the fourth and final round by a panel of judges including famed hollywood producer Carmen Finestra, known for his hits such as "Home Improvement" and "The Cosby Show. In addition to her on-stage activities, Carli has also done studio engineering and vocal work for the Studio H recording studio in Hershey Park and Full Tilt Productions in Mechanicsburg. Her ambitions expanded to various facets of entertainment and cosmetology. She began her studies at Hi-Tech Paul Mitchell Partner School in Miami, Florida and finished her schooling at The Vision Academy - A Paul Mitchell Partner School in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Carli is now a licensed Cosmetologist at Jenny's Full Serivce Salon in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. She focuses on nails, body waxing, spray tanning and makeup. Her love for making other people feel beautiful inspired her to own her own business and is currently an Independent Beauty Consultant for Mary Kay. Even with Carli expanding her repoitaire she continued to find success in various artistic avenues. Carli earned a lead spot at King's Dominion Amusement park in Doswell, Virginia, as part of their summer showcase. Singing current hits of Pop and Country genres, she performed as a featured vocalist and dancer. Carli's vocal ability, quick witt and infectious personality made her a big hit in several apperances on 98.9 FM WQLV, both has an on air personality and as a featured artist. Carli vast array of vocal ability allowed her to headline the Armstrong Valley Winery's "BLAST IN A GLASS" New Years Eve Celebration Showcase, as she performed in the stylings of everything from Pat Benatar, to the Beatles to Lady Gaga. As a performer of diverse abilities, she also excells on screen. In 2012, she landed a lead role on Lifetime Television Network on one of their national television series "AMERICA'S MOST WANTED" and impressed audiences across the country. Carli also was approached to play a more serious role for submission to acclaimed Director Ridley Scott's Nation Film Festival competition. Carli's transcendant performance is a highlight of the film titled "DIVINE INTERVENTION", a story about the endless conflict between Good vs. Evil and the will of humanity. Continuing to let her humorous personality shine through, Carli gave a hysterical performance playing a "Pop Diva" in a commercial for Vegas Fuel Energy Drink. Carli recently wrapped production in "Totaly 80's" showing at Dorney Park in Allentown, Pennsyvlania and was also in the cast of "Eternal Jamnation" this past fall. With a powerful, soulful voice, wonderful sense of humor and comedic timing, and the acting chops to portray dramatic characters, Carli Rapsey can literally do it all. Her voice, musicality, versitility and engaging personality make her a phenomenal performer. Carli continues to pursue her wide variety of passions including regular studio recordings, vocal performances and acting roles.
