Da'Vine Joy Randolph

“I think we as Black people are very good at making a lot out of very little, and I think that’s a superpower, and something that we should applaud ourselves for and uplift ourselves. So there’s nothing that’s never too little. It’s always just enough.” Da'Vine Joy Randolph is a vocal performer, singer and stage, television and film actress. She studied at Temple and Yale University and worked in both independent and larger scale productions. Her first major recognition was for her role as Oda Mae Brown in the original Broadway production of “Ghost” for which she was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical, while in 2024 she received the Oscar, BAFTA, Golden Globe and Critics Choice Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in "The Holdovers" (Alexander Payne, USA - 2023), establishing herself in the film industry.
