Born and raised in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Ahmed Zayani has been exposed to theatre and film from a young age, participating in a number of plays during his high school years as well as his tenure as a college student in Boston, Massachusetts. After graduating in the summer of 2009, Ahmed Zayani worked on his first short film project "Bloodstains" based off of a short story he scripted during his sophomore year. The short film debuted in Bahrain in the Spring of 2010 to modest acclaim. The next year, Ahmed starred in his short film "FANtasy" which is due for release in 2012. Ahmed's upcoming projects include his big screen debut as past of the ensemble cast of "Silveraven" as well as the horror drama "Worst Kind of Monster" both due in theaters across Bahrain in 2012 in addition to the publication of his first literary effort "Marion".
