Ryan was born on the outskirts of Detroit in Oakland County, Michigan. He was a star in the martial arts at a very early age, winning regional and national titles, prior to deciding to be a STAR on the big screen. Shortly after moving to Austin TX with his family in 2008, Ryan's natural charisma and gift for acting were discovered by local film producer, Mike Lee. Mr. Lee promptly introduced Ryan to local legend and acting coach, Maurice Ripke, who accepted him as one of his select group of "rock star" students. Mr. Ripke's engaging and involved style of refining young actors has taught Ryan to hone his skills, and has broadened his range of acting talents. Ryan's fast and furious success in landing prime roles can be directly traced to the instruction of Mr. Ripke. Ryan's martial arts experience with his father Scott Maczuga, who is a lifelong professional martial arts instructor and hall of fame inductee, started at age 4. Ryan is a first degree black belt who continues daily practice and improvement. Ryan has extensive experience in Mixed Martial Arts, Japanese Karate, Tae Kwon Do, grappling/Brazilian Ju-Jitsu, weapons, and acrobatic martial arts (Extreme). Besides his father, Ryan has trained with some of the most respected martial artists on the planet and has earned a reputation for being skilled in Performance Forms/Extreme Martial Arts (XMA) as well as possessing exceptional weapons and sparring abilities. Ryan was also the leader of the award winning Reach Intermix Dance Crew which specialized in a style dance which fuses hip hop and freestyle dance with martial arts, acro-kicking/tricking, and gymnastic movements. Ryan also studies Gymnastics as well as training in stunts, and Parkour. Ryan loves to act, model, dance, and perform martial arts and is always looking to put on a stellar performance. He strives to exhibit leadership and excellence in everything he does.
