Mark J. Wilson was born on July 13, 1957 in Bakersfield, California, USA and has worked in the field of motion pictures and video for which he has won numerous awards for the past 25 years and is most known for Pop Kowboy (2012) and Up from Down (2013) with P.J. Soles and Corey Gonzales. He variously produces, directs, writes, photographs, edits and does voice overs as well. Some of his credits include: Pop Kowboy (2012); Bubba and Sissy Git Hitched?; Disposable; Another Lost Weekend; Time Bomb; The Fox Theater; Naked Twister (2001); Civil War Medical Experience; and Up from Down (2013). He was an original member of a screenwriters group from Bakersfield which included the then fledgling screenwriter, David Self and veteran of fifteen TV movies, Phil Penningroth. Mark's only child, Aaron died in 1995.
