Sue Shaheen is an Egyptian-American actress, singer and songwriter, born to actress Asmahan Tawfiq and painter Moustafa Abdel Wahab. Being born into an artistic family made it inevitable for Sue to pursue the arts herself, she was a creative girl in high-school from acting to singing to painting she did it all. Back in Egypt Sue had a hit single 'Makansh halo' which featured on the top charts all over the Middle East. Her love for rock music made her gain a faster understanding of the English language and as a result, she was also the lead singer for a couple of rock bands. Sue moved from Egypt to Hollywood, California to study at the Musicians Institute, where she obtained her degree in vocal performance and film production. She also studied comedy & improvisation at The Second City Conservatory, Shakespeare at the Elizabeth Mestnik Acting Studio, the Stella Adler Technique at Arthur Mendoza's Actor Circle Theatre, and the Alexander Technique at Alexander Techworks, taught by Jean-Louis Rodrigue and Kristof Konrad. Sue was a performer and a writer for a Second City sketch ensemble, 'Party Boat' for three consecutive successful years. Currently, she is a Lesly Kahn & Co student.
