Kathia Calil

Kathia Calil is a Brazilian actress. She started working in plays when she was 12 years old, and after many stage roles, she appeared in 2010 in a television series in Brazil. Also in 2010, Kathia worked on her first featured film "Meu Pé De Laranja Lima / My Sweet Orange Tree", the movie was selected to the Rio De Janeiro International Film Festival, 2012, and Rome International Film Festival, 2012, and released in 2013 in Brazil. In New York City, where she lived in 2011, she played the lead role for the film "Sofia". Her first award came in 2013 for Best Actress, with the short film Freestyle Chess, a Brazilian production.
