Travis Langley

Dr. Travis Langley, distinguished professor at Henderson State University, is a psychologist best known as the author of the book "Batman and Psychology: A Dark and Stormy Knight," which explores the psychology of Gotham City's Dark Knight, his allies, and their many colorful foes. His publications include the books "Wonder Woman Psychology: Lassoing the Truth," "The Walking Dead Psychology: Psych of the Living Dead," "Doctor Who Psychology: A Madman with a Box," "Captain America vs. Iron Man: Freedom, Security, Psychology" (with a foreword by Stan Lee), and "The Joker Psychology: Evil Clowns and the Women Who Love Them. Dr. Langley regularly presents panels on the psychology of heroes at conventions including San Diego Comic-Con International, WonderCon, New York Comic Con, Wizard World, and the American Psychological Association. He appears as himself in several documentary films. According to the British Psychological Society, he is one of the 10 most followed psychologists on Twitter. Psychology Today runs his online column, "Beyond Heroes and Villains." He was also an undefeated champion on the "Wheel of Fortune" TV game show.
