Legendary swing, jive and skiffle group, The Jive Aces, are renowned worldwide for their high-energy music and spectacular stage show. They are perhaps best known as the first live band to reach the final rounds of "Britain's Got Talent", famously cheering up a grumpy Simon Cowell. They have appeared in movies such as "Pleasure Island" and "Monsoon Tide" TV appearances including "Britain's Got Talent", "Strictly Come Dancing", "Children in Need" and "Good Day Los Angeles". Their music has also been featured on the soundtracks of a number of major productions including Netflix's hit series "Sex Education", Fox TV's "Alert", ITV's "Emmerdale" as well as feature film "In Search of Fellini". They have produced a number of high quality music videos, including award winning, viral video,"Bring Me Sunshine", which has over 3 million views online and is so uplifting it's even been prescribed by a doctor! The band average over 250 shows a year and have performed for The Queen, as well as working with Van Morrison and John Travolta. They've played to capacity crowds at the Royal Albert Hall, Buckingham Palace, Glastonbury Festival, The London Olympics and have graced stages in over 40 countries, including regular major theatre tours in the USA. The band has recorded 11 studio albums, which include over 50 self-penned songs, as well as many covers. Styles include: jive; jazz; boogie-woogie; big band swing; "sinatra style" vocals; jump blues; skiffle; duets, Christmas and even western, circus, pirate & sci-fi themed songs and some 50's rock n roll. All songs are available for soundtrack use, subject to agreement. The band have appeared in a number of TV and movie productions and are available for filming, performing both original and cover songs. If needed they can provide their own vintage costumes including their famous yellow stage suits; black tie & tails; Christmas outfits; classic 40's suits; 50's casual outfits, etc. The band spends a lot of time in the USA and are available for projects on both sides of the Atlantic and elsewhere.
